"I stayed at this property for 3day/2nights. The staff was amazing. They are some of the nicest kindest people you will meet. We felt safe and learned an enormous amount about the animals in the area. It was my bday and they made me a cake and sang, it was unforgettable. Memories for a lifetime. I wish I could have stayed longer. The reviews do not do this place justice. The accommodations were more than we expected and the game drives were exciting and thrilling. We loved every moment. (One tip: make sure to bring US or Euro, we were short to pay for small items like drinks) "

Caleb, in housekeeping, delighted us with charming notes. Moseka, our safari guide, impressed us with his extensive knowledge and knack for finding incredible spots. Nancy, the hotel manager, made it a point to check on us daily, ensuring our satisfaction. In summary, the experience was exceptional, and I am eager to return. "We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Mara Duma in a triple tent. The tent was right on the Talek River and we slept to the sounds of hippos grunting and frogs. The staff were exceptional - warm, friendly, kind and helpful - and went out of their way to make our stay amazing. Food was tasty and home cooked and they catered for my gluten allergy brilliantly - i didnt get contaminated. The only negative is that because the hotel is right next to the Talek gate to the Masai Mara and a very rutted road, the road started being noisy at about 4.30am with lorries bouncing over the potholes...though we were up at 5.30am or game drives anyway so it didnt matter. Would definitely stay here again. Be aware that the fastest road from Nairobi to thehotel goes via the Park - gates close at 7pm to enter the Park."
