Great verandah to sit on with beachside decorations. Excellent breakfast served by helpful owner. Garden of cacti and bare earth. Bedroom and bathroom very comfortable although hot water took ages to come through. Easy walk to beach which is nice for a swim. Only 10 mins drive to Valley of Temples or centre of San Leone where there are lots of restaurants.

Great place, great host. Breakfast was wonderful. qConvenient location with close proximity to main historical sites, and within walking distance to the beach. Only regret is not having spent enough time in Agrigento.

A hidden gem, generous host, 3 star +++
Marco was a great host - keen to please and provide whatever we wanted. Delicious breakfast and a chilled glass of wine when just required! Rooms set in quiet, private gardens. Facilities were comfortable - shower cubicle a little small and decor a little dated - but we didn't expect 4 star and everything worked. Great location - a short stroll to lovely San Leone beach and bars and a 15 minutes drive into Agrigento and Valley of the Temples.

Lovely relaxing getaway
This lovely well-maintained and clean stay was the perfect getaway from the cities, while offering great proximity to the nearby sites. Best breakfast in Sicily. The beach is a must!

Wonderful host, lovely spot!
Marco, the owner, was fantastic! Lovely clean room super close to the beach, nice quiet spot...a paradise behind the fence that makes you feel safe and so relaxed. Marco insisted on not only booking a wonderful restaurant for my birthday dinner and secretly ordering a cake-- he insisted on driving us there, and arranged for the owner to drive us home! Wow, only in Sicily such terrific service and caring! 12 out of 10!

excellent B and B close to the beach
Situated in San Leone just 50 metres from the beach, this B and B is an ideal base for exploring the area, or for just staying put and enjoying the beach. The Valley of the Temples is nearby and if you're a Montalbano fan, you'll be able to visit his haunts. You will be staying in Marco’s house and he makes the ideal host. The house has a very homely feel to it and is decorated in a distinctive style with bright colours and a seaside theme. The garden is beautiful and you could happily spend time relaxing on a sun lounger. Marco prepares a tasty buffet breakfast of fresh fruit salad, bread and pastries.

This is a great B&B. It's location cannot be beat: it's one block from the beach. Our room had a separate, very spacious and comfortable patio area, with a nice couch, chairs and table. The breakfast was delicious, especially the cactus fruit with honey and pistachios was a treat and a nice touch. The owner is nice, helpful, and speaks English. The exact location did not come up on our GPS: the place is easy to find though with a sign on the main road if you come from the town.

Perfect host
We arrived later than expected but Marco was waiting and very helpful. Phoned round and recommended an excellent local sea food restaurant. The next day breakfast was fresh and best fruit cocktail of the holiday. Again very helpful with tips where to explore in the area . all spot on . Marco thank you restaurant vittoria near selunte was without doubt one of the best local sea food experiences. Not to be missed.

Very pleasant place to stay
Cheerily and beautifully decorated bungalow in lovely gardens. 3 minutes walk from beach and convenient location for Agrigento and valley of the temples. Really nice breakfast with fresh fruit salad and different pastries. Marco (host) very helpful with strong tips for eating and the best time of day to visit the different tourist attractions!

Superb accommodation
Villa Cetta is located near the beach, Valley of the Temples and Agrigento. Marco was a phenomenal host - meeting us on arrival, ensuring that we knew how everything operated, providing us with a map of the area and easiest directions to get places. Every morning we had a lovely breakfast of fruit, yogurt, heated Sicilian croissants and pastries, followed by cappuchino and Italian coffee. Marco was readily available to answer our questions and help us with our Italian. We would recommend Villa Cetta for anyone staying in the Agrigento area.

Lovely stay
We enjoyed a wonderful 2 night stay here. A unique villa, with just 2 rooms but that makes it much more intimate. Marco was an interesting and welcoming host introducing us to the delights of prickly pear. Just 2 minutes from a sandy beach.

A great little hideaway near the Temples
We absolutely enjoyed our one-night stay at Villa Cetta. The host was incredibly welcoming, giving lots of great advice on restaurants, on how best to visit the Valley of the Temples (thus saving us lots of time and effort)...The B&B is located a short distance from the beach near Agrigento and is wonderfully quiet at night. The backyard lounge is very relaxing after a long day of driving. The breakfast served is excellent and healthy. We strongly recommend Villa Cetta for a peaceful and quiet stay.

Little oasis right by the sea
We wanted somewhere comfortable to stay on our way through agrigento to see the valley of the temples. Villa Cetta is located on a quiet street just off the beach, which was gorgeous golden sand with turquoise sea backed by trees. The owner was very hospitable and provided a beatiful breakfast on the terrace outside our room. A real treat to stay there and very convenient for the valley of the temples.

Great short stay
It was a very pleasant overnight stay for us. We stayed too short due to our car itinerary but everything was great. The place is in a nice location very close to the beach and off (but close to) the town center. We arrived after dark and Marco was waiting for us. He sent us right to a very nice restaurant after showing us the room. The next morning the breakfast was one of the best we had in Sicily and we could try some of the local cactus fruit and enjoyed a chat with Marco. We enjoyed the yard briefly and then walked along the beach before heading off to the close-by temples.

Great B&B close to beach & easy access to Templi
Villa Cetta is a gem! A gem cut by the owners Marco and Alessandra. They are friendly and very helpful regarding recommendations for places to eat, drink and for visiting Valle of the Templi and Agrigento. We stayed in four places in Sicily and this was where we felt most relaxed and certainly offered the best value for money. Breakfast is superb with pastries and four or five different fruits, two of which We'd never eaten before (" fruit of the tree that the silk worm feeds on" yes- mulberries). Highly recommended for visiting the Templi and taking advantage of the sandy local beach.

a very special place
We loved our stay at Villa Cetta and wished we could have stayed another night... Our host was gracious, accepting our late arrival and making reservations for a memorable dinner aat Trattoria Caico, just down the road. We slept soundly with windows open to the sound of the sea. In the morning, Marco and his lovely girlfriend served our best breakfast in Sicily in an artful room filled with books and spirited conversation about literature, movies, philosophy and politics. This place is a FIND and we are deeply thankful for finding it!

Great location in Agrigento
Marco, our host, was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. He gave excellent information on visiting the local sites and dining in the area. He even turned our car around for us in the narrow street outside the B&B.

Near the beach and Valley of the Temples
Marco, the owner, is wonderful. He will fix you breakfast whenever you want it, help with your bags, give directions and is very nice to talk with. The rooms have everything needed and are clean and comfortable with shelves for storage and extra beds if needed. Our GPS had some trouble finding it. I think going by the beach road would be easier. Once we found it, everything was easy to get to. The beach is very close and beautiful. A town with restaurants (the service at Il Pescatore was bad) and gelato is also near and it's easy to get to the Valley of the Temples. Be sure to go at night as well as during the day. They are lighted at night and although you can't get too close, we thought they were beautiful! If we return to the area we would definitely stay here again and for longer than the one night we had this trip.

Wonderful establishment & proprietor
I would highly recommend staying at Villa Cetta. You would find Marco a wonderful proprietor who has created a relaxing B&B and who is keen to make your stay welcoming and informative. Breakfast is more than enjoyable and was the best we were offered during our tour of the island. I would return to Villa Cetta without hesitation and am thankful to Marco for contributing to our enjoyment whilst we were there.

We really enjoyed our short stay here. Marco & Alessandra were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful hosts. Marco spoke good English, which was useful because our Italian is limited. The Villa is a short distance from the beach and only a few kms from the Valley of the Temples and Archaeological Museum. Our room was comfortable and we enjoyed a splendid breakfast on the large terrace. We hope to stay at Villa Cetta again sometime in the future.
