A great experience! We stayed at this pretty ground-floor apt in mid-February, & even though it was the coldest winter in 100 yrs, there were lots of potted plants and flowers growing outside our door!
The apt & all of its furnishings are very new, of unusually high quality, & every inch was spotless. The bedroom area is very large, with plenty of room for the queen bed and also a twin bed. The kitchen is also large, and well furnished with equipment & "starter" food, including pasta, several breakfast cereals, olive oil, milk, cookies, and delicious, fresh Sicilian oranges. In fact, there's a brand new one-cup-at-a-time coffee maker, so that you can make espresso or a cappuccino any time you want! We also liked the fast WIFI connection, & appreciated the booklets & brochures about Agrigento in the apt.
The owner, Pino, is a great host! He asked us what we might want for breakfast, and when we'd like it delivered, and voila! The next a.m., he appeared with little breakfast sandwiches and the ricotta-filled cannoli that Sicily is famous for. Pino even drove us way out to the ruins, & offered to buy us a coffee & guidebook there. Also offered to take us to the train.
