Take in beautiful mountain views, unwind by the private backyard fire pit, and enjoy a peaceful escape just minutes from the best of Virginia Wine Country!
You'll be interacting via TEXT directly with the owners, but not in person unless needed.
The neighborhood is quiet and rural. 0.9 miles to Veritas, and ELEVEN wineries/breweries/distilleries within 5 miles! 15 mins to Humpback Rocks and Jack Albright Loop (plane crash site!). 1.5 miles to Afton Tunnel!

Weekend with Friends
This house has everything you would want in a weekend getaway. The house was clean and had plenty of space for everyone to have their own space. We loved the kitchen area, were there was plenty of room for us to sit together and cook dinner. The fire pit was awesome and there was even starter logs for us to use. We loved sitting on the front and back yard watching the deer and other animals running through the woods. The property owners ensured we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

Family retreat
We recently stayed at the Wine Cottage in mid-Sept. 2024. Our group was made up of family members from OH and PA meeting up for some relaxing time in the Blue Ridge Mountains near Charlottesville, wineries and breweries. The Wine Cottage is well appointed and had the number of bedrooms we needed our group. The owners had thought of everything to make our stay a positive experience. Communication with the owners prior to our stay and during was positive. We would definitely rent this house again when are visiting the area.

Family Stay at Wine Cottage
The house was very clean and the bed's were all comfortable. We appreciated all of the amenities and care that went into making sure we had all of the essentials for our stay. Would definitely stay there again. Thanks!

Perfect location
We came for my daughter’s wedding at King Family Vineyards. It was a perfect spot to get everywhere we wanted to visit easily. The house is beautifully decorated and we had a ton of natural light for hair and makeup before going to the venue. I would love to return and spend more time visiting wineries and breweries. The area is gorgeous!
