Check-in was relatively quick. Room was basic, not the cleanest, but ok. However, the TV had dozens of channels listed, but would only show Premier Inn adverts. The shower over the bath didn't work properly, as you had to hold the switch continually to get water out of the shower head. Since the new terminal opened in Abu Dhabi airport, the Premier Inn is no longer convenient, having to get their shuttle bus there and bus. At the airport there are no signs to say where the shuttle bus stop is. Then getting to the airport, you can't reserve a seat at a given time on the shuttle bus, as it's on first come basis, considering its a small bus, is a bit risky especially if you've left your Check-in a bit late. Breakfast is very good at the hotel. Unfortunately, having stayed at the hotel a number of times previously, due to the location of the new terminal, i doubt I'll be returning.

Perfect for our long connection needs
It's not our first and certainly is not our last time in this cozy hotel. We already have another booking to visit in April. Located 10 minutes away from the airport, this hotel is the perfect affordable solution for a long connection. The airport shuttle is very convenient taking you to and from the hotel. Rooms are clean, basic, but that's all you need.
