I booked the Grand EURHOTEL, 4 stars according to Expedia, but as soon as I arrived the front door had 3 stars posted. The receptionist was not very welcoming and asked to hold on to my passport while I check into the room. I never leave my passport unattended and told her that I would wait.
After checking in and receiving my passport back, I went to the room, which was actually an apartment with a lot of space. She did not tell me the WI-FI password, I later had to ask for it.
I completed the Expedia check-in survey with a :( and was told to see the hotel staff. I called the hotel staff and was not given any information, apology, etc. Later, the heat in the bedroom wasn't working, but the living room/kitchen was fine. When I called the front desk the guy told me it was fine and functioning and then asked if I really wanted to change rooms at this hour (1 am). Instead we stayed and used 5 blankets.
