The staff were friendly and went out of their way to help you. My room had a balcony which had a view of the Castle wall which is what I wanted. I could look out the balcony and take pictures. "This is a very clean, peaceful, and convenient B&B in the heart of Caldas da Rainhas, near to all of the cultural attractions and easy driving distance to beaches, such as Foz do Arelho, which is a must see. Parking is a 5 minute walk away in 5 de Outobro parking lot, 6 euros/day. The staff speak English well and are all very helpful and cheerful. The breakfast is excellent, including eggs made to order. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated with ceramics on the walls. The only drawback was that the shower didn’t have a door or shower curtain, resulting in a rather wet bathroom floor by the end of your shower. I would definitely stay again. Oh - and a peacock and peahen visited the interior courtyard on both days that we stayed there. Excellent B&B. "
