BEST in OCEAN SHORES
The room was clean, beds were super comfortable. Pool was super clean, hot tub, sauna all working. Breakfast was great and great selection. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Ample parking. Liked the outside hose to hose off feet from ocean. Elevator is wasn’t working, however the knew that when I booked the room! I will stay again this is the BEST place I’ve stayed in Ocean shores. We’ve visited every year since 2012.

Our room was huge but the floor turned our socks and feet black immediately. The beach is right down the road and an easy walk though it’s a parking lot most of the time out there. Breakfast was typical continental fair and we loved out back door for enjoying the evening outside. Property does allow dogs but only in some rooms so read the fine print!

I asked for a room downstairs by the pool and they were totally accommodating. The Sounds from the surf were awesome and we saw a heap of wildlife from our back door. Nice pool, Great buffet style Breakfast that is included with your stay. Handicap Accessible with plenty of parking spaces. Housekeeping did a great job and all employees always had a smile and a kind word. I will book my stay again at the Lighthouse Suites Inn.

The staff was not exactly professional or accommodating, but the rooms are reasonably priced. Take note that while it’s a pet-friendly property, they charged (as of August 2024) $25.00 per pet, per night.

Disappointing
Room was only cleaned/serviced once during our stay. When I asked the front desk about it, they made it my fault the room wasn’t taken care. On our last day, the room was “serviced” - trash emptied and a new roll of tp. The elevator is still not working, i would have imagined it would have been repaired in the six weeks since I booked the reservation. On trying to checkout, the front desk person was too busy cooking breakfast to provide the receipt I wanted. I expected a lot more for the price we paid. Needless to say we won’t be staying here again.

Dated but clean and comfy. However, I brought my dog and got a room right next to the front desk. Because of this proximity, the front desk people heard my dog bark when we were gone. One evening we got a third call saying my dog had been barking for 1.5 hours; this was impossible bc we’d been gone a half hour. The hyperbole was annoying at best, and had we been down the hall, they wouldn’t have noticed. I confirmed that no guests complained. As a result I had to take my dog and leave her in the car EVERYWHERE we went. All the other interactions I have with staff - except housekeeping - were rude and curt.

We stayed on the lower level. The rooms were very spacious. Loved the small kitchen and sitting space. Very convenient location. Close to the beach and town. Lots of parking. Breakfast was good and lots of choices. Will stay here again!

This property has really gone downhill. Stayed here several years ago it was great. Best Western has removed their name and it's very run down and old, not kept up at all. When we checked in there was a long line. One lady behind the counter was on the phone because she couldn't get into the computer and everyone could hear her conversation with tech support. No shampoo, conditioner or lotion. One tiny bar of soap for three sinks. No plates or utensils in kitchenette. Toilet wouldn't flush, kept backing up. Blood stains on the bed sheets. Ceiling fan caked with dust. No liner in the ice bucket. Screen door rusted out (but worked) and was left unlocked when we entered our room. Restaurant closed down. Sad to see this place in such ruins. Will not stay here again. The one good thing was the complimentary breakfast.

The elevator was not working. The hall carpet was dirty, and the sliding screen door was rusted open. But our Partial Ocean View room was large, comfortable, and clean. The balcony opened over a peaceful wetland preserve. The beach was in walking distance but you could drive your car right out. We stayed an extra night. It was awesome.

Amazing comfort!!
Absolutely lovely and spacious room! Very comfortable bed and linens. The absolute best view and wonderful staff members. Yummy breakfast and the pool/hot tub was very clean. The staff were nice and the breakfast was decent as a continental breakfast. The location was nice, but there were serious issues with the facilities that were only disclosed to us the day before check-in. Elevators were not functioning and the pool was closed until the day before we left - which wasn't disclosed when we booked. The lighthouse tower, which could have been fun to explore and view was under repair and many of the other areas were under repair. Hoping this nice hotel can be fixed up but it is currently in a bad state.

Peaceful getaway at the ocean
A comfy and spacious room with partial ocean view. Nice and quiet while being pet friendly. The elevator was still out of order but staying on the 2nd floor was not a problem. We loved the location and will stay there again!

The room was very clean but we got there a bit early & they would not let us in before 4 pm the Elevator was broke so we had to carry our bags up the stairs Now we are both over 70 years old they did not have anybody to help us up the stairs the lighthouse was closed not sure why but the views are nice when they let you up there. The restaurant was closed down so we were not Happy
