We spent a weekend at the property in one of the dog friendly rooms (2 adults, one whippet) Couldn't praise the property highly enough, lovely spacious rooms, plentiful buffet breakfast which could be taken in the drawing room to have dog with us. Free and large car parking. Lovely grounds with plenty space to walk. Missed out on the spa facilities only due to our own schedule but it looked very good. Staff friendly and very helpful 10/10 and will definitely return in the future

Restful.
The room was spacious and the bathroom great. Service was brilliant, nothing at all to complain about. Alas, there was a domestic incident in the room next door one night but this has nothing to do with the hotel. The staff reacted quickly and dealt with it well. Will definitely go back on future visits to Aberdeen.

The property was fine, at little run down. The swimming pool, gym and spa area were good and well run - lovely outdoor spaces. I felt my room needed more attention - pillows were flat and stained, generally a bit dustry and mould in the shower.

Royal Deeside Break
Amazing hotel, great food and good facilities but did need a car to go anywhere. We couldn’t walk down to the river which we had hoped we could, the hotel grounds were nice but didn’t include the river :( and no public transport to get into Aberdeen for a night out so taxi or driving and with a week long stay we did want to try out different venues for food. Location of hotel was great for getting out along Royal Deeside, into Aberdeen, down to Stonehaven and many other great places in the area.

Enjoyed our stay, it was our fourth visit. Location is good, especially for access to the city by car. Staff work hard and are friendly. Food is to a high standard and breakfast is delicious and plentiful. Some of the furniture needs re-covered or updated. The cleanliness is not up to the same high standard it was previously. Main areas are cleaned but not aroubd the edges or ceilings, plenty cobwebs. Hoping to return again
